Daley Freez in Payson

Had the shrimp and Halibut with a chocolate Malt. Amazing, my buddy had the pastrami sandwich. We are both very happy we picked this over the Mickey D’s up the street. Dailey Freez did not disappoint.

Was in line for 10 minutes 3 girls were out taking orders and seem not to care, I was in the DRIVE THRU LINE!! While other cars were not. #NotGoingBack

Tastes good, looks good. The service though was pretty good this place should really hustle when it comes to taking orders and serving your food. It took us 10 minutes just to order and another 20 just for the foods

Shout out to Daley Freez.I just had the BEST service as a 1st timer. The gal had great suggestions, was quick with my order and gave me a free sample of their lime ice cream (which was amazing by the way). They got my order perfect and didn't forget my requested sauces. Hands down great service and tasty food. We're new to the area and I think another burger joint up the hill needs to take some pointers from these guys. They've earned my loyalty today! 🍔🍟😛

Daley Freez has always been a go to place since I was a kid, as it was in our neighborhood. The fries are awesome and we always have to get a vanilla lime twist cone. The food is made fresh when you get there so it’s better than fast food.

I had the Pastrami burger in a combo. My wife ordered the Halibut w fries (fish & chips?). Both were presented well and very tasty. Coke drinkers? Be prepared for Pepsi only. 😲 First time. Impressed. We may find an excuse to come again! (Lots of good stuff on the menu.)

Workers are quick, friendly, and very hygienic during the covid pandemic.

Do not get stuck in the drive thru. You will be there for an hour. Excellent food but they are so so slow

Amazing burgers, mediocre fries, terrible halibut.

Cute mom and pop shop, expensive food, no itemized receipt, no prices listed.My biggest gripe is clarity of what I was paying for, I ordered a malibu chicken with fries, chicken strip meal, 1 drink, 1 shake, and a "baby cone" (enough ice cream for any adult I know). Came out to ~$32 don't have any clue what any of it really cost. Service was ok, cashier was nice enough, just doing their job.

Absolutely delicious! Utah needed this. The flavors are so fresh. If you haven't ahead tried their stuff you need to. I've tried a few items on the list and everything is so good.

Love this place. Always quick with customer service. And always willing to help no matter how difficult my orders may be. Keep up the good work.

One of the best burger + shake experiences you can get. The service was nice, price was reasonable, and the food felt homemade. You can't go wrong.

The Big Steve is where it's at! Also, the onion rings are amazing and will keep you coming back.

I came here as a kid when my dad had a mechanic shop next door. Still just as awesome today. My favorite is the halibut seaside burger, fries and a malt. Sooo good!

Super good American place with awesome burgers, fish, and ice cream. Love the lime sherbet. Fast and personal service. Oh and the corn dogs are bomb too

Great place to bring back old memories as a kid. Great burger and still love their fries. The vanilla ice cream is really good. The only complaint I have is the lime ice cream is different now and I don't like it as much. But other then that we have loved it and have been back several times lately.

We thought it would be fun to try a local place after hiking in the area. We picked this and were disappointed. It took FOREVER to get our food and once we got it they had done my son's burger wrong who had allergies. 🤦🏻‍♀️ The food wasn't great and the fries were too soft. Too bad this one didn't turn out better.

First time coming, and will definitely be back! Great food and incredibly friendly people working!

If you like flavorless overcooked food & a 40 minute wait, then this is the place for you!First the goodish part. The shakes were decent, and the fries are seasoned well.I'm confused why everyone says the food is amazing. Maybe we had bad luck. Or maybe this is the only place the five star reviewers have ever eaten.The top review said it was like homemade. I think they grew up with a traveling carnival, because it was like cheap carnival food.The food was cold. We waited for over 40 minutes to get cold food. 30 of the 40 minutes was right in front of the drive through window. Both of the "1/4 lb" double cheeseburger patties were smaller that one McDonald's dollar burger. They were paper thin & bland. The chicken strips were dry & bland.Speaking of chicken strips, that's the chicken they put in the chicken tacos. We wanted something better than McDonald's (which isn't hard to find), but got carnival food that you'd expect to see in a small town horror movie.

The food was really good! We enjoyed the halibut meal. It was way too much food for one person. We waited for 25 minutes to get food. If we knew it was going to take this long we would have tried a different restaurant

Old time burger and malt place. Generous portions. Nice to eat at a place that isn't a look alike, taste alike franchise. Far more variety than the franchise joints offer. Only downside, it'll spoil your diet for the day--salt and fat.

Love this place! Lately we have ate here almost once a week. Their service is great, and have had a good experience with their employees. Their chicken sandwich is my favorite! Their fries are delicious, and so are their corn dogs and their fry sauce! My husband loves their "Big Steve" burger which is a burger with bbq sauce and an onion ring. We love their cherry fresh lime drink. There is usually a few minute wait, which is fine with me because my food is always hot so I know it is fresh. Since it is a drive up we just take it to the park a couple blocks south and eat there. Would recommend.

This was described to me as "dank." the milkshake was fantastic, but the food itself was overcooked overpriced and quite honestly a little old tasting. I would 100% recommend the shakes but I will never eat here again.

Delicious, price was right! Good down home food. Seasoning on fries was delicious! Bacon was thick. Raspberry shake was to die for.

Hands down my most favorite hole in the wall restaurant in the state! Fries are always seasoned well. If you like pink sauce, this place knows how to make it great. I mainly come here to get a mushroom and Swiss burger and I've never been disappointed. Not a sit in place but you can drive thru or walk up to the service window. Worth visiting if you're around Payson.

The wait took too long and they messed up the order which caused us to wait even longer. The Big Steve burger was good but could have used a better distribution of the ingredients.

Stoped in sunday for a large halibut the batter had already run off before cooking then they cooked it untill dark brown. Poor owners wouldn't allow such poor quality

Usually this place is awesome but as of late they have taken 30 min to an hour to get food to you and this last time they claimed to have lost my ticket because it "blew away" after I had sat there for 30 min. Great food but horrible service. Not sure it's worth the hassle.

Daley freeze??! ☆☆☆☆☆ Every Dairy Queen needs to take lessons or training from Good ol' Daley freeze!! We also love Glades in Sp. Fork, another small in stature, but big on service and taste! Ill review them another time, but Daley freeze....it's been around since I was a kid, I'm 57. They have the BEST customer service set up ever!! Even being the smallest establishment (in physical size) they are anefficient, efficient, friendly, well oiled establishment, top notch, with the best halibut fish & chips anywhere!! Their entire menu is grrrreat!! And sauces always in abundance and fresh!!

Real shakes! Real food! It is slow because it is always busy...BUT! That’s because it’s really good food worth the wait!!!

Best fries and burgers in town!! My family loves the bacon Swiss burger! Super friendly staff and super fast service! I remember going with my grandma in the Summer when I was little and getting the ice cream!! This place is near and dear to my heart and I'm so happy they're in Payson!!

Fast food at its finest. This place is staffed by young people on the hustle. Great attention to detail and service.They have soft serve shakes and an alternative fried potato called English chips. With the fry sauce its absolutely tasty.If you're adventurous try the triple meat and triple cheese. Your seat belt may not fit after that meal.I had the English chips with the Malibu chicken. sandwich. Daley has the option if fried chicken breast or grilled. And of course i sampled the soft serve ice cream as an Oreo shake.This is truly one of the gems in small town America. Thanks for the good eats.

After 40 days of quarantine, I gave in... I fed my carnal urge for tantalizing greasy fare. I testify that Daley Freez is sooo heckin good! Love the pastrami burger! Fish n’ chips is even moar gooder! Staff is friendly and the foods are totes worth the waits! Now for dessert... ice shakes creams sooo fackin nom your taste buds will astral project into a utopia farr mo betta than Gene Wilder’s best dream of the perfect Willy Wonker Paradise sundae emporium!

Notes:Prices: $$ it is slightly more expensive than your average fast food and of the multiple menus posted outside the building, only one has prices (pictures of the menu prices attached)Drive-thru only: there is no seating save for a single pic-nic table in the back, but the table does have a shade coverFish and chips is really big: my husband and I split the 4 piece and both felt like splitting the 2 piece would have been enough foodKids meals: the kids meals come with a decent portion of fries (like a full small-med size portion) and a lack of fruit snacks

My burger was kids meal size but I paid full price. Very dry patty. Only had 3 mushrooms total. Too much mustard. My kids burger consisted of just ketchup and patty. No pickles or lettuce. Fries were alright. I ordered cheese fries and they said it's not an item they offer so I just had regular fries. Nothing special. Raspberry cheesecake shake was good. Very long wait. Overall, would not recommend.
